These awards are glamorous, sophisticated and they reward those individuals and businesses that have helped to push Swansea onwards and upwards in terms of what the city has to offer with regards to outstanding quality, customer service and innovation. Swansea Life Magazine will hold its first ever award ceremony on December 5 2009.
It will be a glitzy yet sophisticated affair – a black tie event at The National Waterfront Museum. We are seeking the best of the best of what this city has to offer across 11 categories. But only you – our readers – can decide which individuals and businesses are worthy of such accolades.

This week the world-renowned London shopping Mecca Selfridges opened the doors of a new Blow dry and styling bar.  The Team of Lara Johnson Lifestyle were given the honour of opening the Salon, delighting Celebrities, Editors and Fashionistas with the latest styles that will be seen on the catwalks of London’s imminent fashion week shows.

Our Girls return from Maternity

We are very happy to welcome back our 3 stylists who have been away on Maternity leave. Jenny Williams our Manager at the Glamorgan Health & Racquet club has returned, after giving birth to a gorgeous boy, Frankie.  Jenny will be working Wednesday to Saturday at the Club.  Bobbi Evans has also made a welcome return to the Glamorgan Health & Racquet Club after having a beautiful girl Olivia, Bobbi will be at the club on a Monday and Tuesday.
Back at the Mumbles Salon, we are welcoming Jay Lacey who also had a beautiful girl Lacey Jay. Jay will be working on a Tuesday and Saturday.  If you would like to make appointments with any of our stylists who have returned please book in and print off this flyer and receive 10% off your services.  This is valid for 6 months!!!  One transaction per client.

Marathon Success!!

Congratulations to Lara & Dom on completing this years Marathon in London. They are aiming to raise £4000.00 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Dom’s dad suffers from MS and they wanted to raise as much money as possible for such a worthwhile cause, as they know firsthand the sort of problems MS sufferers are confronted with.  We have been raising money in the salon, by offering a grand Raffle Prize Draw. The winner will be given a Years Free Cuts & Colour (up to 10) the draw takes place on 29th May 2009.  So if any clients who would like to have the chance of winning this fabulous prize, they can call into the salon and buy a raffle ticket for £2.50. They both finished in style and Dom’s time was 3hours and 50 minutes and Lara’s in 5 hours 15 minutes.  Lara said “It was an emotional day for both of us, the atmosphere was electric and everyone was supporting and pushing each other on to the finish line”
